I replaced my spark plugs.
The old plugs were NGK BKR5E.
I wondered if they might still be usable, but since I bought them second-hand and didn’t know how long they had been in use, I decided to replace them.

I bought the new spark plugs from MonotaRO.
They are TORCH K5RF-11.
When I was selecting, I chose this plug because it was the cheapest compatible part.
I’ll write about this in a separate article later, but the engine malfunctioned while I was driving on the highway, and when I checked later during repairs, I found that the plug had melted and damaged the exhaust valve.
It’s difficult to say for sure whether this accident could have been avoided if I had used the specified genuine NGK plugs, but I will definitely take this into consideration when selecting my next parts.
