When I replaced the driveshaft, I noticed that the area around the front differential was dirty with oil, so I was concerned about the oil level in the front differential.
I decided to check it out and change the oil.
I’ve just removed the drain bolt.
Oil is over a wide area and I don’t know where it’s leaking from.
I decided to wash the oil off with parts cleaner and see how it goes.
This is the differential oil I drained.
I measured the amount and it was about 700cc.
The specified amount is 800cc, so considering how much was left inside, it doesn’t seem like there had been much less.
I used an oil suction pump to add new differential oil.
Front differential oil: 75W-90, GL-5, 800cc
